Katy Apricot
One of the few apricots with a freestone pit, so it is fast and easy to process. Fruit is large and very flavorful. Good for fresh eating, drying or canning. A great apricot for mild winter areas. Self-fertile, so a second tree for cross pollination is not needed. Cold hardy to zone 7. (Requires 350 winter chill hours) One of the earliest to ripen, Late May to late June.
